Basie holds a BA-degree in Geomorphology and lectured in this subject for approximately 20 years at the Wellington Teachers Training College. He also obtained a Masters Degree in Language Acquisition. He is the current chairman of NAFOS. As an author and speaker in all fields of Creation Science, Basie has made significant contributions. Basie has conducted numerous tours and day hikes in the Karoo and Cape Town area (Western Cape), placing special emphasis on Biblical creation, the global Biblical Flood, and fossilization. He published his first book titled Evolution: Science or Religion? (available in both English and Afrikaans) in 2020. This was followed by the Afrikaans book Juffrou, kom ek van 'n aap af? in 2020, and the book Where Does Everything Come From? (available in both English and Afrikaans) in 2023. The latter was awarded Best Book at the Master Books competition, USA, 2024.

Nicolene is a part-time lecturer/external contractor in Applied Natural Sciences (Nature Conservation) at UNISA (University of South Africa). She published her Master’s Degree dissertation on Plant Ecology and Management in 2010. As an author and public speaker (both locally and internationally) in all fields of Creation Science, she has made significant contributions, dedicating more than 30,000 hours to this subject. Nicolene published the first full-color, illustrated, and comprehensive books on Creation Science in South Africa in 2014 titled Creation by God, or evolution… from nothing? (Afrikaans: Skepping deur God, of evolusie… uit niks?). These books are for ages 12-112. In 2018, Clash of Minds published a DVD-series based on this book. By 2019, Nicolene published her second set of books for ages 12 and younger titled Creation to re-creation (Afrikaans: Skepping tot herskepping). Clash of Minds published another DVD-series based on these books in 2022. Nicolene’s books are also available in Australia, Canada and the USA, with her first title in its third print. Johan Smit is a qualified geologist and consulting hydrogeologist. Growing up in a Christian home, he faced a challenge to his faith when he began his studies in Earth Science, which contradicted the clear Biblical teaching of Creation in Genesis. It was only after graduating that he encountered creationist material, sparking a journey of self-study, discovery, and a profound revelation about the vital role of worldviews in science.

Dr Emile du Plessis, a retired veterinary surgeon, first completed a BSc degree with majors in Zoology and Physiology before earning his BVSc at Onderstepoort. His veterinary career spanned four decades, including 20 years dedicated primarily to farm animals and another 20 years focused on companion animals in the Western Cape. Initially, his academic studies led him toward an evolutionary worldview. However, following his conversion to Christianity, he began to recognize the rationality of God's Creation. He came to see how science, coupled with plain common sense, aligns with and supports divine Creation and a Biblical worldview. Emile has been actively engaged in apologetics ministry for 18 years. He also leads tour groups to the West Coast Fossil Park, where he provides insightful explanations and demonstrations of the compelling evidence for Creation and Noah's flood, with a particular emphasis on fossils and dinosaurs.
